About Us

GVM College of Pharmacy, Sonipat the “1st Girl’s only Pharmacy College in Northern India” was established in the year 2004 under the aegis of prestigious society (SHRI SANATAN DHARAM SABHA, Gita bhawan (Regd.) with an aim to promote excellence in pharmaceutical education and research sector. Since its inception, the institution has made noteworthy contributions towards the building professional skills of pharmacy focusing on all the major aspects such as community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy & industrial pharmacy.

The college is approved by Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak for intake of 60 girls students. It is offering the 4 year degree program in Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy). Its overall academic curriculum is designed for the holistic development and focus on overall harmonious personality development of its students. The institute offers intellectual discovery, socio-ethical awareness, economic opportunities and multi-facet development to the students for transforming their lives. We have been constantly focusing on creative thinking and nurturing innovation to promote the young minds to think beyond their imagination.

Location

The institute is located in the heart of the Sonipat city and spread over a total area of 2.5 acres. It is approximately 08 km from NH1 and 02 km from theSonipat Railway station and in a close proximity to the bus stand which makes the institute easily accessible from Delhi and nearby towns.

About Society

SHRI SANATAN DHARAM SABHA, Gita bhawan (Regd.) is a reputed and pioneer society which is basically socio religious and educational service center of Sonipat. The society was registered in the year 1960 under the registration of the society’s act 1860. The primary objective of this society has been to promote the welfare of the society in a broader prospective through its various socio-economic and spiritual activities.

In accordance with the policies and priorities of the government and catering the needs of the society relative emphasis is being given towards the empowerment of women through higher education, vocational education and generation of employment for the youth on one hand and service of the poor / disabled, social security for the aged and service of the humanity at large.
